VDFU Summer Meeting 2023: Record Attendance at Dutch Efteling Theme Park
(eap) From 13-15 September, the members of the German Association of Leisure Parks and Enterprises (VDFU) met for their annual summer meeting – this time in the well-known Dutch Efteling theme park. The theme park, which is also very popular with German and other European visitors, is one of the top ten in Europe with more than 5.4 million guests per year. This is certainly one of the reasons why the German leisure industry association was able to record an extremely pleasing number of participants at a summer meeting with more than 300 registrations. Many amusement park operators and entrepreneurs from the supporting suppliers’ industry attended with several staff members. With two evening events and an informative daytime programme, during which members reported from their companies, among other things, the last Friday was available to each participant for an individual tour through “Efteling’s World of Wonders”, which many representatives of member companies certainly took advantage of to get their own impression of this extraordinary example of best practice.
