Wattens, Austria: Swarovski Kristallwelten – Goodbye with Firm Prospects
This summer, Austria’s Swarovski-Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds) welcomed its 12 millionth visitor. Since 1995 “the crystal worlds of the Giant” have developed into one of the most frequented sights in Austria. 19 years and 12 million visitors later the Crystal Worlds are on the brink of the largest expansion in their history. Up until 5th October 2014, guests can enjoy the whole attraction before the last phase of an extensive renovation period starts. New themed rooms are to be created in the midst of the sparkling crystal worlds. The re-opening of Swarovski Crystal Worlds is scheduled for May 2015. (eap)
