Winner of the Wellness & Spa Innovation Awards 2023
(eap) Last week, the German Wellness Association (Deutscher Wellness Verband) presented the “11th Wellness & Spa Innovation Awards” to five companies from the industry. In the “Spa Products” category, the company IONTO Health & Beauty received the award with its “Bio-Cellulose Face Mask Hemp and Bakuchiol” thanks to a new combination of active ingredients. The company AUFGUSS ROOTS won the “Spa Treatments & Services” category with its “Mini Magic Towel” infusion towel – according to the jury, the advantages of the product, which is made entirely of cotton, include its special construction and texture, which make it easier for infusion masters to handle the towel.
The award in the “Spa Tech and Equipment” category went to two companies: to Athletiqo, in recognition of the “reLounge” heat therapy lounger, and to BEWEI for the “BEWEI HANDS” hand treatment device, which is designed to counteract signs of skin ageing. BCW Hotels & Resorts Luisenhöhe was also honoured in the “Spa Business Concept” category for its “GesundKunft” concept. This is a wellness concept that formed the basis of a recently completed new hotel building and is intended to reflect health promotion, well-being and inspiration for healthy lifestyles in all architectural and operational aspects, taking nature and ecology into account. ■
