Yas Waterworld Expansion to Open This Summer

(eap) The Arabian Miral Group, developer of leisure and entertainment destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai that the expansion of the Yas Waterworld water park on Yas Island will open this summer. A total of twelve new slides and attractions, as well as an expanded range of dining options, will make the experience even more varied for visitors in the future.

Water slide fans can look forward to new highlights such as the three-person raft slide “Mataha Madness”, the high-speed raft slide “Sadaf Swirl” and the log flume water ride “Bahamut’s Rage” with a 15-metre drop. In addition, the interactive play zone “Bandit’s Playground” provides a variety of water fun. For younger guests, there will be “Al Sahel Junior” (a mini zero-gravity Boomerango), “Dawwama Junior” (a compact version of the iconic Blaster slide), and “Rimal Racer” (a racing slide for kids), among others. The new waterslides will all be supplied by Canadian manufacturer WhiteWater West. The expansion project ties in thematically with the existing story “The Legend of the Lost Pearl” and takes visitors to the “Lost City”, a world full of hidden treasures and secrets...
