accesso & Planet Partnership Aims to Facilitate On-Site-Payments in Leisure Attractions

The accesso^® Technology Group has teamed up with global technology company Planet, operating in the hospitality and retail sectors in particular, in a strategic partnership to combine payment services, technology and software for on-site-payments in leisure venues and attractions. In this way, guests of leisure facilities will have more options to pay during their stay on-site, including high-value contactless and digital wallets on their phone. This should make it easier for guests to make payments on site. Guests from abroad even have the option of paying in their own currency, which is expected to generate more revenue for the facilities.

On the operator side, the combination of the two systems is expected to save time and money while increasing efficiency in day-to-day business. In addition, a better overview of customer data will mean that leisure operators can use the data-driven insights to optimize their customer loyalty programs. The technological integration of the payment platform provided by Planet into the point-of-sale ticketing systems of accesso will also allow front-line staff to easily process a higher volume of transactions through a single device.
