Bathing in Adventure Worlds

With “Bathing in Adventure Worlds” the European Waterpark Association (EWA) documents the current state of development of European water parks and spas and promotes the discourse about the future development in the sector of water parks, spas and sauna landscapes. The publishers’ focus is on the numerous best practice examples of the member companies active in the European Waterpark Association, as well as on sustainable bath concepts, food for thought and visions of operators, architects and consultants of the bath industry. The essays of the renowned professionals are an orientation beyond the present in the direction of future destinations of baths or complex recreational facilities.

The selected contributions to this book were first presented as a lecture during the two EWA congresses “Future Perspectives of the European Water Park Industry”, which were highly appreciated on an international level. The EWA has created an important platform for the practice-oriented exchange of experience and dialogue within the industry. This reader is published on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of the European Waterpark Association.
