Okavango River

In the middle of a richly themed African backdrop, visitors to Jaderpark in northern Germany can enjoy a splashy ride on the “Okavango River” – a Flume Ride supplied by German manufacturer Herstellers HAFEMA Water Rides GmbH. The attraction covers an area of some 10,000 square meters. A total of ten boats, each with a capacity for up to four passengers, travel along the 350-meter flume channel. After reaching a platform at a height of five meters, visitors take a reverse descent. The “grand final” of the ride – again facing forwards – is a nine meter high descent: riders plunge down with their boat into a powerful splash! The hourly capacity of the Okavango River flume ride is about 400 pph.
