Top Thrill 2

“Top Thrill 2 will redefine our company, putting us into the big gun league,” says Antonio Zamperla, President & CEO of Zamperla Rides. This year, the former Top Thrill coaster, which opened in 2003, will see its relaunch as “Top Thrill 2” at the US amusement park Cedar Point. The conversion of what was once the fastest catapult roller coaster into the now highest and fastest triple launch coaster in the world is a pioneering project for the Italian manufacturer. Special features includes Zamperla’s new “Lightning” train system, which is characterised by its particular lightness – ideally suited in combination with the integrated multi-pass LSM launch, which will accelerate the train to a top speed of 193 km/h.
