Czech Republic: Plopsa Opens Majaland Praha
In the Czech capital Prague, the Plopsa Group recently opened what is now its second “Majaland“ indoor theme park, following the location in Kownaty, Poland, which was opened in 2018. The 15 attractions, including a roller coaster, a carousel, a bumper car and a free fall tower, are primarily designed for children between the ages of two to ten. Plopsa was only responsible for the planning and construction of this new destination, as “Majaland Praha“ is operated by the KAPRAIN investment group, which has concluded a licence agreement with Plopsa and operates the Premium Outlet Center in the immediate vicinity.
“Due to the good location of the park next to the outlet centre and the proximity to the airport, we are convinced that this park will be a great success. We strongly believe in the combination of entertainment and shopping,“ says Steve Van den Kerkhof, CEO of the Plopsa Group. With “Majaland Warsaw“, another Plopsa indoor park is under construction and is scheduled to open this spring. (eap)
