GB: Alton Towers Announces Name of Its New Dark Ride Attraction
Staffordshire’s Alton Towers theme park, operated by Merlin Entertainments Group, has confirmed the redesign of its “Duel” dark ride and revealed the name of the attraction that it will bear after its modernization. “The Curse at Alton Manor” will be the name of the new scary ride, which receives a new steering system from manufacturer Mack Rides and is due to be launched in spring this year – an exact date is still to be announced. According to the park, the dark ride will use special effects and visuals to scare and thrill young and old guests alike.
