IAAPA EMEA Winter Forum from 29 to 30 January on Tenerife Island
The IAAPA EMEA Winter Forum 2019, organized by the European office of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), will take place from Jan 29th-30th on the Canary Island of Tenerife (Spain). On the first day of the event, industry professionals will have the opportunity to visit the Loro Parque adventure zoo in the north of the island to discover the visitor attraction during a “behind the scenes” private tour. On Wednesday, the program will start with seminars on crisis communication, followed by a trip to Siam Park in Costa Adeje, in the south of the island. The waterpark will deliver best-practice examples for participants to discuss subjects such as ride operations, F&B outlets and VIP experiences. At the end of the two-day forum and networking event, a guided bus tour will take the group to the over 3,700 meter-high Teide volcano, the highest mountain of Spain.
All those who want to spent some more time in the region will be provided with the opportunity to take part in a post-tour to the neighbouring island of Gran Canary, including a visit to the new Poema del Mar visitor aquarium, which – as Loro Parque and Siam Park – is operated by the Kiessling family (cf. EAP news from Dec 21st, 2017).
