David Bromilow (photo), Director Parks & Attractions at Danish software provider Mobaro Park, has recently been appointed new member of the AIMS International Board of Directors (Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers; formerly: American Recreational Equipment Association/AREA). The Nashville/Texas-based organization promotes safety at attractions and rides in the global amusement industry.
A graduate engineer with many years of professional experience in the attractions industry, David Bromilow is considered an expert in the wide field of safety. He serves as a member of the global safety committee of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and also chairs the IAAPA EMEA safety committee.
“I have been involved with AREA/AIMS on and off since 1984 as a student and then as an instructor as I also was at this recent AIMS Maintenance and Safety Conference,” said Bromilow. “I am very grateful to the board at Mobaro who allows me to serve as a volunteer across the industry working in promoting good practice and safety,” he added.
At Mobaro Park, Bromilow is responsible for the development and introduction of safety-related software solutions in leisure facilities. Read in our special feature in EAP issue 6/18 how these systems work in general and how they can help leverage safety on your amusement rides. (eap)
