“Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” Light Trail at NYBG
(eap) At the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), fans of the iconic Disney film “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (1993) can discover a light trail that brings characters such as “Jack Skellington”, “Sally” and “Zero” as well as scenes and songs from the film to life in the form of light installations on 8,300 square feet (over 750 square metres). Modern technologies such as video projection, “intelligent” LED lighting and 3D-printed sculptures are used for this purpose. The light trail was developed by Adventurelive, the production team of Broadway’s “Hamilton”, and LETSGO, the Madrid-based creative team also responsible for Tim Burton’s Labyrinth and Lights in Nature exhibition, and presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.
