“Wonnemar Ingolstadt” Invested in Sauna Expansion
The current capacities at Wonnemar Ingolstadt have become too tight. Five to six hundred visitors daily and around 70,000 more guests in 2006 than in the previous year have called for an expansion of the facility.
Three new saunas and a relaxation house have been custom-made and the high quality dried pinewood used for their construction was chopped to fit exactly. After a three-month reconstruction phase, an idyllic Finish sauna village has been created here. The construction entailed building a 30-square metre large vitality sauna, a roughly 42-square metre large infusion sauna and a ground sauna within a space of 36 square metres. In addition, a light-flooded relaxation house with a lounge and tranquillity room was built. (eap)
