35 Years of Parc Astérix: New Attractions Await Visitors in 2024
(eap) Parc Astérix, located near Paris, recently announced new attractions for its 2024 anniversary season, when the leisure destination turns 35 years old. The highlight for all visitors who are not afraid of heights is likely to be the coming new 40-metre-high chain carousel “La Tour de Numérobis” from Italian manufacturer Soriani/Zamperla, which is being built in the Egyptian themed area. Also, there will be a new gastronomic offering named “P’Oz Kebab”. Entertainment will be provided by the first Gallic musical, which will enchant guests at the “Théâtre de Panoramix” from next spring on after three years of production. The show for which 26 set elements and 80 costumes have been specially manufactured will last 25 minutes. The Gallic parade will also be modified and will feature a new waggon with new characters and a new soundtrack composed by Benjamin Ribolet in 2024. In addition, the 35-year-old water ride “Le Grand Splatch” will be redesigned and renamed “La Revanche des Pirates”. ■
