A Winter Experience: Wunderlight at Wunderland Kalkar

(eap) The Wunderland Kalkar amusement park in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is hosting “Wunderlight”, a winter event for the whole family, through 2 February 2025. In addition to winter attractions and activity offers such as an ice-skating rink, a photo booth and a winter food market with various stalls and cosy seating areas, the “Vier magisch leuchtenden Welten“ (Engl.: Four magical glowing worlds) await visitors. This is a light route that allows young and the young-at-heart to discover illuminated winter animals, dinosaurs and decorations. Along the light route, visitors can also learn about the unique characteristics of animals adopted to cold environments and lots of interesting facts about dinosaurs. Some of the regular attractions are also open to visitors on the winter opening days and are particularly beautifully illuminated. ■
