Abu Dhabi/UAE: Ferrari World Launches “Flying Aces” in 2016

Currently Ferrari World Abu Dhabi works on a massive extension of its attractions portfolio (cf. EAP News from July 16, 2014). Now the theme park has announced the opening date for its newest major attraction “Flying Aces”. The Intamin rollercoaster is scheduled to be introduced in the first quarter of 2016. According to Ferrari World it will be the park’s first plane-themed coaster and at the same time the first of five major rides and attractions to be launched as part of Ferrari World’s expansion. “The groundbreaking engineering and technologies behind this bi-plane coaster will give guests the thrill of their lives. We have completed 50 per cent of the construction of Flying Aces and are simultaneously working on other rides and attractions to launch in 2016,” Ferrari World’s General Manger Jesse Vargas says.

The park recently opened some smaller attractions, including the go-kart experience “Karting Academy” and a new “Driving Experience” that offers visitors the possibility to drive a Ferrari. For children the new play and climbing area “Junior Training Camp” has been created. (eap)
