Abu Dhabi/UAE: Miral Reveals More Details on Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

As announced earlier this week, further details on Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, which is currently under construction on Yas Island (cp. EAP news from 2 Mar 17), have been revealed by developer Miral Asset Management. Once open, the park will feature six immersive theme worlds: Metropolis and Gotham City, inspired by the universe of the DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains; Cartoon Junction, Bedrock and Dynamite Gulch, themed after iconic animated brands such as Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera; and Warner Bros. Plaza, representing old Hollywood, where the characters and stories originate from.
„Miral is proud to confirm that one year after announcing its plans to bring Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to Yas Island, we’re making great progress with our partners where we’re 60 percent complete and on track to launch in 2018,“ said Mohamed Abdullah Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral. A total of 5,500 specialist engineers, workers and craftsmen have been engaged to build the park. (eap)
