(eap) The Dutch Attractiepark de Waarbeek, located in Hengelo near Enschede, has published visualizations and initial construction site photos of a new attraction that is due to open in 2025. This is a carousel that transports passengers to lofty heights of around 14 meters. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the family amusement park on a ride in “De Wolkenvaart” in lovingly designed gondolas – whose design is reminiscent of steampunk airships. In line with the target audience, the new carousel can be used by “young and old”. The novelty is supplied by the Dutch company Wooddesign.

Attractiepark de Waarbeek, which now looks back on over 100 years of history, operates numerous family rides such as family coasters, small towers, carousels and a Ferris wheel – the park will start its new season on April 5, 2025. ■
