Plopsa Coo Becomes Plopsaland Ardennes

(eap) After the Plopsa Group recently announced a name change for the German Holiday Park to Plopsaland Deutschland, the group has now also revealed a new name for its Belgian destination Plopsa Coo Ardennes, which will be operated under the name Plopsaland Ardennes in future. By changing the name of its outdoor leisure parks, the company aims to establish a brand identity that transcends national borders. Like the indoor parks under the name Plopsa Indoor and the water parks under Plopsaqua, all large theme parks will now operate under the name Plopsaland.

“The choice to extend the Plopsaland name to our largest theme parks is a deliberate and logical step. With a strong and recognizable brand name, we increase our visibility, strengthen our positioning abroad and make it easier for visitors to recognize our parks. The launch of our new website fits perfectly into the same commitment to a clear and consistent brand experience,” explains Xavier Verellen, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of the Plopsa Group.

At the same time, investments are being made in both renamed parks. In Plopsaland Ardennes, a new themed area with three new family attractions based around the character “Maya the Bee” will open this summer. Meanwhile, Plopsaland Deutschland is working on an investment plan of over 100 million euros.

“Today, a strong brand is more important than ever – especially if you want to grow beyond borders. By using the Plopsaland name for all our major theme parks, we are creating clarity, recognition and trust with our audience. These name changes are not an end point, but a beginning, because we believe in our brand enormously. We will continue to invest in the future of our parks and in our European ambitions,” adds Carl Lenaerts, CEO of the Plopsa Group. ■
