Australia: Sea World Marine Park Attracts Visitors with New Jellyfish Presentation

“Sea Jellies Illuminated” is the title of a new animal presentation at Sea World Marine Park – located on the Australian Gold Coast and operated by Village Roadshow Theme Parks –, showcasing local jellyfish species in illuminated water tanks.

The project, which was realized in cooperation with Griffith University, aims at enthusing visitors for cnidarians – several educational elements provide guests with information about this marine species. In addition, a working research laboratory on the top-floor of the exhibit allows guests to watch Griffith University scientists undertaking research into the world of sea jellies. (eap)
