Australia/USA: Zero Latency Wins Tech Giants Microsoft, HP & Intel as Partners for VR Platform Development
Zero Latency, the Melbourne/Australia-based provider and operator of free-roam VR attractions, has recently started a partnership with US tech companies Microsoft, HP and Intel to collaborate on the creation of the next generation of Zero Latency VR platforms. Within the framework of the cooperation, the partners will provide new technology solutions and marketing assistance to help broaden Zero Latency’s global reach.

We look forward to working with them to reach customers with experiences based on Mixed Reality headsets and our cloud-based services, and working with them to expand to new markets,” said Yancey Smith, Senior Director of Mixed Reality Commercial Solutions at Microsoft.

The latest version of Zero Latency’s VR platform enables up to eight players to roam untethered in a VR game facility, equipped with VR headsets, backpacks and controllers. Five VR games are currently available to play in Zero Latency arenas, which is now installed at 24 sites in 13 countries. (eap)
