Austria: Bad Schallerbach to Build Euro-Team-Resort
The Austrian EurothermenResorts in Bad Schallerbach, Bad Ischl and Bad Hall have been able to look back on a successful development during the last few years. Not only visitor numbers have increased but also staff numbers have grown enormously over the years: From initially 560 employees in 2005 the number increased by 50 percent to currently 840 employees. EurothermenResorts is continuously committed to strengthen its position as an attractive employer by expanding the company’s services for employees. In addition to a corporate “Eurothermen training academy” offering training sessions conducted by external coaches, employees can profit from a special health care program. Especially the Bad Schallerbach operation has seen a yearly increase in pan-regional staff. To attract potential employees on a nationwide basis, Eurotherme Bad Schallerbach now invests in the construction of attractive housing options on site. The foundation stone for the 4.4 million Euro “Euro-Team-Resort Bad Schallerach” accommodation facility was laid in September. It will comprise 48 housing units (39 rooms + 9 appartments) rounded off by a large recreation room as well as a terrace with pergola and seating accommodations. The completion of the staff housing is scheduled for autumn 2015. (eap)
