Bø Sommarland Gets Family Twister Slide "HiwiHuhu“
(eap) The Norwegian outdoor water park Bø Sommarland is expanding its “Te Tonga” area with a “Family Twister Slide” from wiegand.waterrides. On this slide, guests will be able to slide “face-to-face” in a three-person-raft, in a two-person-raft or alone on a single raft. They will start at a height of over ten meters before sliding down the 110-meter-long attraction. The course of “HiwiHuhu” will have both closed and open sections. Children aged six and older, at least 120 cm tall and weighing at least 25 kg will be allowed to slide alone. The weight limit to use the slide on a 1-person raft is 130 kg. For sliding fun in pairs and threes, people must be one year older and meet other weight requirements. The new attraction is scheduled to open with the start of the Bø Sommarland season on June 8.

The splash park comprises various elements, including a play structure with four small slides, a ship, water cannons and a 300-liter tipping bucket. In addition to Kånns Tiki, a new gastronomy offer called “Hukapapa” and 14 new VIP cabanas also opened in 2023. ■
