Ballast VR & Crystal Lagoons® Announce Partnership

(eap) US-based Ballast Technologies (Ballast VR), which specializes in virtual reality solutions, is now an exclusive partner of Crystal Lagoons^® as a “Preferred Vendor”. The collaboration between the two companies is based on a preferred vendor agreement, which provides that Ballast VR’s VR snorkel product “DIVR^®” can be seamlessly integrated into both existing and new Crystal Lagoons installations. Already in 45 locations in 16 countries, the California-based provider’s technology enables pools in spas, water parks and resorts to be transformed into exciting diving destinations. Equipped with a waterproof VR headset and snorkel, guests can float in the pool, immersing themselves in virtual underwater worlds to marvel at coral, fish, turtles and more (Link zum Video VR-Schnorcheln). The huge, crystal-clear pool facilities of the Chilean company Crystal Lagoons have been setting new world records time and again for more than ten years and are in demand above all among hotel and resort operators, but can now also be implemented in municipalities for the general public (see EAP 5/2021).
