Bayern-Park Premieres Halloween Event Days
(eap) For the first time, Germany’s Bayern-Park opens its doors for Halloween, transforming itself into an autumnal, spooky landscape with various activities for the entire family.
This coming weekend (19 & 20 Oct) and from 26 through 31 Oct, the “Family Creeps Fun Days” are taking place, suitable also for younger children. Visitors are invited to dress up appropriately and Bayern-Park mascot “Franz-Xaver” will also contribute to a Halloween atmosphere. The rides and attractions will be in regular operation, complemented by themed Halloween decoration. Also, there will be a special show program. Two adventure trails will attract young visitors to exciting challenges: On the “Gepetto’s Vermächtnis” (Eng.: “Gepetto’s Legacy”) trail, they can break the spell of a fairy who only brings dolls to life in October… On the adventure trail “Das Geheimnis der Wolpertinger” (Eng.: “The Secret of the Wolpertinger”), the children support the explorer “Ludwig XXXVII” in his search for the legendary Wolpertinger.
For the very brave (and older) guests, the “Weiß-Blauen Albtraumnächte” (Eng.: “White-Blue Nightmare Nights”, white and blue are the colours of Bavaria) begin in the evening hours after the family fun. On the event days, visitors can look forward to three horror mazes featuring a total of 70 actors: “Die Alm” (Eng.: “The Alp”), where a sinister zombie virus is raging; the “Tollhaus” (Eng.: “Madhouse”), which is haunted by bloodthirsty vampires and “Der Fluch” (Eng.: “The Curse”), in which cursed tarot cards bring sinister figures to life… ■
