Beijing: Theme Park for Chocoholics

 

Chocolate fanatics from China can be looking forward to January 2010: According to China Daily, a chocolate theme park is due to be opened near the Water Cube Aquatics Centre and the Bird’s Nest stadium. Chocolate replicas of the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army and of famous paintings will be shown in five pavilions and two outdoor sites. Moreover, the park will offer courses in which guests can learn how to make chocolate themselves. 10,000 to 20,000 visitors are expected daily. The names of European chocolate makers who are supposed to be interested in the project have not been revealed, yet. (eap)
