Belgium: Painting With Light Announces Rebranding & New Strategic Approach
Belgian company Painting With Light (PWL), known for developing lighting, visual, show and AR concepts – such as at The Art Hour art space in Mechelen (see EAP 3/2020) – will be strategically realigning itself this year following a rebranding. PWL deploys a new direction including market diversification, digitization and full turnkey project management for visual experiences.
Luc Peumans, CEO of PWL, explains: “The past few years have challenged us to become even more agile and adapt faster to changing market needs. Our customers are asking for more digital and turnkey solutions, so we broaden our offering in this direction. We successfully turned our rehearsal studio into a chromakey TV studio with augmented reality technologies for virtual events and live broadcasting, extending this towards fully equipped virtual studios for customers or companies at their location. All of this perfectly fits our mission of adding value to customers by creating engaging memories through powerful visual imagineering and sensory emotions.”
In order to be able to meet the increasing demand, the team capacity was expanded by over 50 percent and supplemented by new designers, programmers, project and sales managers in all areas. In 2021, PWL developed, among other things, the LED lighting concept for the new Plopsa Hotel at Plopsaland De Panne (see EAP 6/2020). (eap)
