Belgium: Plopsaland De Panne to Get a Wooden Coaster

Visitors and fans of Belgium’s Plopsaland De Panne can already look forward to next year – 2016 will see the opening of a brand-new wooden roller coaster. Supplied by Great Coasters International (GCI), the new attraction will feature a track length of around 625 meters and a height of around 22 meters. Two “Millennium Flyer” trains will accommodate 12 passengers each. With the opening of the new coaster the beloved TV figure Heidi will make its debut at the theme park: the family-friendly coaster will be placed in a new theme area dedicated to the Swiss home village of Heidi.
