Belgium: Popcorn Revenge® New IP for Interactive Dark Ride Concept
Following the presentation of a “rotating theater” in 2007, offering an interactive experience with immersive themed scenery, Belgian Alterface company has now introduced a new Spinning Interactive Dark Ride based on the theater system – the newly created Popcorn Revenge® IP brand plays the main role in the new attraction. The dark ride with a small footprint has a capacity of 600 pph, with a ride length of five minutes. Divided into six different scenery sections, groups of up to eight persons per box can shoot at “mad popcorn” by using a shooting device. Also, the new system is compatible with “drag and drop”, a 4D shooterTM and gesture recognition. (eap)
