Berlin Dungeon is Open Now!
The newest of the Dungeon attractions operated by Merlin Entertainments was opened last Friday, on the 15th of March 2013, at Spandauer Straße in Berlin. More than 700 years of the city’s darkest history are shown at the new Berlin Dungeon, the eighth Dungeon attraction worldwide. The 15 million Euro attraction was built on a 1,500 square meter large area within six and a half months. Nine interactive shows, nine actors and the escape on a raft on the Spree are part of the creepy experience. While at the London Dungeon, which by the way has just moved to a new location within London (cp. EAP news from January 18th, 2013), Jack the Ripper goes about his business, Berlin Dungeon features dark stories about the serial killer Carl Großmann amongst others.
