Berlin/Germany: New “Gummi Bear World“ at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal Now Open

This past Saturday, Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal near Berlin has inaugurated its new “Gummi Bear World” indoor area, featuring a large jelly bears manufactory and a total of nine attractions. On some 700 square meters young visitors can enjoy funfair atmosphere and go for a ride on a carousel, a freefall tower or a bumper car attraction, amongst others (these three rides were supplied by SBF-Visa). Guests can watch how delicious fruit gums are made in the factory, also they can have a meal in the new burger restaurant. Parallel to the opening of the Gummi Bear World, the 4^th Eiswelt Elstal (Eng.: Ice World Elstal) was also opened as part of the fruity land. Under the motto “Komm ins Erdbeerkönigreich” (Eng.: “Come to Strawberry Kingdom”), the ice world will be opend to the public until 3 November 2019.

The new indoor area marks the second expansion of Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal this year, following the opening of the new “Potato Chips World” and the “K2” rollercoaster this past spring (cf. our cover story in EAP, 5/18). (eap)
