Bestwig / Germany: Preliminary Investigation Initiated due to Fraud against MD of Fort Fun

On January 5, 2012 we reported about the takeover of Germany’s amusement park Fort Fun and Grévin Deutschland GmbH by One World Holding GmbH & Co. KG owned by the Baden-Württemberg family business Ziegler. North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochsauerlandkreis) police announced on January 28, 2012 that the public prosecution department of Arnsberg initiated a preliminary investigation due to fraud against the operating company’s Managing Director and authorized officer. Evidence was collected during a search of the company’s offices. Subsequently, an arrest warrant for suspicion of fraud was issued by the district court of Arnsberg against the company’s authorized officer Matthäus Ziegler. (eap)
