Bibi & Tina Theme Park to Open in 2026 Feat. a World’s First
(eap) After the construction announcement of a Bibi & Tina theme park right next to Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Elstal near Berlin in summer 2022, there is now an update on this large-scale project.
The new park, which promises visitors to experience the authentic “Martinshof” feeling and the world of “Falkenstein” known from the children’s radio play series, will open its doors in early summer 2026. The main attraction for the new theme park, which has a price tag of around ten million euros, has already been announced: The German manufacturer ART Engineering is supplying a family launch dueling coaster in a Möbius design – a world’s first attraction, according to Karls.
The roller coaster experience for the whole family will allow children as small as 90 centimetres to ride thanks to special seats. On the ride, two trains start at the same time and meet several times along the track layout – accompanied by well-known songs from the world of Bibi & Tina – before finally arriving mysteriously on the opposite track of the station...
“With the Bibi & Tina theme park, we are fulfilling a long-cherished dream of many fans and creating a unique adventure world for the whole family,” explains Karls founder Robert Dahl. “This park is a tribute to the beloved characters from Bibi & Tina. The Karls gang around our strawberry bear Karlchen and Bibi & Tina simply fit together perfectly in terms of values,” says Dahl.
The opening of the new park will mark a further step in the expansion of the large Karls world in Elstal. Karls is also planning a water park (Karls Plansch-Theater) and a 1000-Star Resort with various themed hotels and nature holiday homes. ■
