Canada: „A Beautiful Planet“ to Be Relased in April 2016

The Canadian provider of entertainment technology IMAX Corporation announced its latest IMAX® 3-D cinematic space adventure “A Beautiful Planet” will be released on April 29, 2016. The project is a co-production of IMAX Entertainment and The Walt Disney Studios and was realized in cooperated with Canadian filmmaker Toni Myers as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The film is a portrait of Earth from space, providing a unique perspective and increased understanding of our planet and galaxy. It features stunning footage captured by the astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS). “Toni has crafted a remarkable film that uniquely captures the raw beauty of our planet. In collaboration with our long-time friends at Disney, we’re so excited to bring the entertaining and creative A Beautiful Planet to IMAX audiences during Earth Month next year, making it a one-of-a-kind celebration and appreciation of the place we call home – in IMAX,” Greg Foster, Senior Executive Vice President, IMAX Corp. and CEO of IMAX Entertainment, comments.
