Canada: Connect&GO Announces Changes in Management
Montréal-based ticketing specialist Connect&GO recently announced changes in its management team related to three positions: Mathieu Dupuis joins the company as new Vice President of Products & Technology. The founder of Billetterie Première Loge Inc., which was acquired by Ticketpro in 2016, disposes of almost 20 years of professional experience in the ticketing industry. “After close to 20 years as an entrepreneur and president of a ticketing company, I made the decision to join an ambitious company with international goals,” says Dupuis.
New Chief Operating Officer is François-Pierre Moffet. The graduated computer engineer held several roles in the mobile communications, finance and insurance industries and has most recently been serving as COO for Montréal-based Sofdesk software development company. “I felt that I had accomplished what I needed to at Sofdesk and the Connect&GO offer came at the right time. I was motivated by the challenge and the opportunity this role provides as I join the team as partner and COO,” says Moffet.
Also, Sébastien Auger was appointed new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Auger joined Connect&GO in 2016 as Director of Growth.
In addition to the changes on management level, Connect&GO sees its technology and development departments growing, following the recent acquisition of Dator Inc. in June this year. The company now has an office in Repentigny (Québec) as well as close to 20 new employees on its team. Besides internal changes for several positions, further staff is to be hired in the next months.
