Canada: DreamCraft Attractions Appoints Vernon McGugan to New CEO
In November this year, DreamCraft Attractions, a joint venture between CAVU Designwerks and One Bit Labs (c.f. EAP news from October 21st, 2016), announced that Vernon McGugan – who looks back on 40 years of experience in the business – will become the company’s new CEO. Peter Schnabel has withdrawn from this position to focus exclusively on his leading responsibility at CAVU.
For more than 23 years, McGugan has been working at Disney parks and he spent another 20 years with Universal Studios Japan and Universal Creative. Most recently he was the project executive of Universal Studios Japan’s “Harry Potter” attraction, coordinating its design, construction and operations planning. (eap)
