Canada: Michael Turner Joins CAVU Designwerks as New Executive Vice President of Global Business Development

Industry veteran Michael Turner (photo) has recently joined Victoria-based CAVU Designwerks, a supplier of media-based attractions for the international amusement industry, as the company’s new Executive Vice President of Global Business Development. Turner, who looks back on more than 34 years of experience in the international entertainment and attractions industry, has experience working with a variety of CAVU market segments.

“I was attracted to CAVU because of Peter’s forte in innovating by applying unique technologies to rides. There is a tremendous opportunity for growth in this segment. I look forward to leading the global expansion of CAVU and bringing the team’s innovations to parks and attractions around the world,” said Michael Turner, who will oversee all aspects of the company’s sales and marketing operations worldwide. His responsibilities will include working to ensure implementation of corporate strategy, extending current market partnerships and defining new markets to enter. He spent the last seven years at Neptune-Benson, one of the industry leaders for aquatic filtration and disinfection for recreational water complexes. Before that, he worked for Gateway Ticketing Systems for more than 18 years.
