Canada: Vortex Names Sylvain Dugas New COO
As the Canadian manufacturer of water play structures Vortex has announced, is Sylvain Dugas taking over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dugas is expected to efficiently optimize the company’s operations and organization, and will report directly to CEO Stephen Hamelin. From his past positions as VP Operations Canada at dormakaba, a manufacturer of safety and access solutions, and as VP Operational Excellence at pharmaceutical company Pharmascience, Dugas brings more than two decades of experience in managing supply chain, production, planning, procurement, manufacturing engineering, quality, maintenance and logistics services to the company.
“Sylvain’s experience across a range of industries means he brings best practices in manufacturing and supply chain management that go beyond our internal perspective. We look forward to his insights and approach that will help continue to fuel Vortex’s growth,” commented Hamelin.
