Canada’s Wonderland Announces New Giant Waterslide for 2024
(eap) Vaughan, Ontario (Canada)-based theme park Canada’s Wonderland will delight visitors to its water park in 2024 with a major new slide attraction. Named “Moosehorn Falls”, the approximately eight-hectare Splash Works water park is scheduled to open a new raft slide that can be used by six people at a time. The highlight of the “giant boomerang slide” – the Boomerango slide model from WhiteWater West – will be a 13-meter-high (42-feet) curved wall element that the rafts ascend to provide a feeling of weightlessness for passengers as they zoom down. The ride will eventually end with a big splash in the landing pool.
“We’re excited to provide attractions that our guests can enjoy together, and Moosehorn Falls will be a perfect water park adventure for families and friends,” said Phil Liggett, General Manager at Canada’s Wonderland. Moosehorn Falls is created in reference to the waterfalls on the Broad River along the Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, which is part of the UNESCO Fundy Biosphere Region.
