Canada/USA: Cirque du Soleil Announces Last Performance of „La Nouba“ at Disney Springs

After 19 years of delighting more than ten million guests with breathtaking acrobatics and stunning choreography, “La Nouba” by Cirque du Soleil will give its final performance at Disney Springs on December 31^st this year. “We want to thank Walt Disney World Resort for a wonderful run over the years. We look forward to announcing what’s next,” said Jerry Nadal, Senior Vice President of the resident shows division at Cirque du Soleil.

“La Nouba”, which premiered on December 23^rd, 1998, was the first Cirque du Soleil show taking permanent residence in a city outside of Las Vegas. In Europe, Cirque du Soleil holds a five-year agreement with Spain’s PortAventura Resort for various tour productions (c.f. EAP news from December 8^th, 2014), in Asia, guests can enjoy Cirque du Soleil shows on Singapore’s Sentosa island (amongst other locations). (eap)
