Chimelong Water Park Announces New Attractions for 2025
(eap) Canadian waterslide manufacturer ProSlide Technology and Chimelong Water Park in China, which opened in 2007 and is part of the Chimelong Paradise park, have announced new attractions for next spring.
The expansion at the Chinese water park, which welcomes 2.5 million guests a year, comprises two complexes. One will feature the world’s first “Launched HydroMAGNETIC LIM Mammoth Water Coaster”. HydroMAGNETIC propulsion technology for rafts is already in use at other water parks such as Holiday World, Universal’s Volcano Bay and Everland Caribbean Bay. Furthermore, the entrance area will be redesigned: The two water rides in this complex are supposed to make an impressive impression on arriving guests. The first raft ride will be a large “Double TORNADO 60” – making the park the only one in the world to have three TORNADO 60 slides. The second raft ride is based on new technology that the manufacturer plans to present at this week’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando. ■
