China: Universal Beijing Resort Starts into Soft Opening Phase on September 1st
After six years of construction the time has come for Universal Beijing Resort to start into its soft opening phase on September 1st. The newest and overall second resort of the Universal brand features the Universal Studios Beijing theme park, the Universal City Walk Beijing shopping, dining and entertainment district as well as the two accommodation facilities The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and the NUO Resort Hotel. Universal Studios Beijing will enchant visitors with a total of seven theme areas which address visitors of all ages: “Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness“, “Transformers: Metrobase“, “Minion Land“, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter“, “Jurassic World Isla Nublar“, “Hollywood Boulevard“ and “WaterWorld“. Guests will be able to experience selected rides, attractions, shows and dining services.
Due to the pandemic situation in China, the resort has worked closely with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to develop safe opening guidelines. The resort has adopted a series of initiatives reinforcing the screening, social distancing, sanitization, masks and disinfection across the resort. Additionally, visitors have to pre-registrate with ID verification and provide registration in the Chinese Health Code app. (eap)
