(eap) The Churpfalzpark in Loifling (Bavaria, Germany) offers various attractions and playgrounds on an area of over 18,000 square meters. A new addition is a “Family Launch Coaster” from Italian manufacturer SBF Visa, which opened last Saturday. The new family-friendly attraction is the park’s fourth roller coaster and the first roller coaster in the region with acceleration from a standing start.

“It is important to us to offer our guests something new every year. With the new roller coaster, we are offering a particularly big highlight this season,” emphasizes Joachim Muth, Managing Director of Churpfalzpark. “Our roller coasters are among our guests’ favourites. For this reason, we wanted to expand our offer in this direction. We made sure that both younger children and their parents get their money’s worth on the ride.”

A total of 14 passengers can take a seat in the coaster train, which is designed as a locomotive. Depending on the number of passengers, the track with a maximum height of 8.5 meters and a length of almost 130 meters can be passed through several times. The train reaches a speed of up to 43 km/h.

“We are looking forward to making lots of children happy with the new roller coaster. Our guests often experience their very first roller coaster ride in their lives at Churpfalzpark. We therefore hope that the new attraction will also create childhood memories that will last a long time,” says Muth. ■
