Cologne / Germany: New Sauna Area Rounds Off Lentpark

Germany’s Lentpark in Cologne, a combination of elevated skating rink, skating rink and swimming pool facility opened in 2011, opened its new sauna area in November 2012. The new sauna section offers four different sauna cabins on a 1,000 square meter large area. Visitors can cool down and relax with the help of an adventure shower, in a sleeping room, in the relaxation area or in the sauna garden including a swimming pond. The new sauna area, in which the KölnBäder GmbH expects around 15,000 guests per year, has been equipped with products from Klafs.
During the first year of operation (October 2011 to September 2012), the swimming pool area of Lentpark welcomed more than 210,000 guests. 107,000 visitors alone came during the summer season (May to August 2012). Over 125,000 guests were recorded during the first skating rink season (October 2011 to April 2012) at Lentpark. (eap)
