Concord, North Carolina/USA: A Treehouse for Great Wolf Resorts’ Waterpark
The indoor waterpark operator Great Wolf Resort enhanced its newest waterpark, the Great Wolf Lodge Concord, NC with a Fort Mackenzie, a treehouse-waterfort provided by SCS Interactive. The Great Wolf Lodge opened its doors on April 23, 2009, and is by now the eleventh Lodge using such a multi-level treehouse structure as its cornerstone attraction. The treehouse has four stories, a nearly 1,000 gallon tipper, one suspension bridge, two body slides, several interactive spray pool elements, 11 waterslides including a Howlin’ Tornado, a family raft ride and a four-lane mat racer. The attraction features a northwoods-inspired theme. (eap)
