Croatia/Europe: Museum of Illusions Aims at Further Growth in Europe and Announces New Locations
The Croatian company Metamorfoza, which specializes in developing museums and marketing them under the franchise principle, announces numerous additional Museum of Illusions® locations for Europe. After the first attraction of this kind – in which visitors can marvel at optical illusions and holograms in various rooms and discover and try things out for themselves in an interactive area – opened in the Croatian capital Zagreb in 2015, and the Museum of Illusions® in Brussels, the 37th location until to date, recently opened its doors, the educational art experience is also to find its way into other Western European cities.
Soon, the Museum of Illusions® will also delight guests in Rome, Dublin, Dubrovnik, London, Manchester, Marseille and Valencia. Another important expansion market for the successful museum concept is North America, where further growth is also being sought. Already existing locations there include New York, Orlando and Toronto (see photo). By the end of 2026, the Museum of Illusions is aimed at counting a total of a hundred locations around the globe.
“We’re excited to continue our groundbreaking expansion around the world. Museum of Illusions is the original pioneer and global leader in the ‘edutainment’ space and is making tremendous strides towards achieving our international growth goals. Opening our 37th museum is an exciting opportunity to bring education and entertainment to another city in a creative and unconventional way, and we hope to continue providing this unique and innovative experience in various markets around the world as we set our sights on growth,” comments Jonathan Benjamin, CEO, Museum of Illusions.
