Dansk: Tivoli Copenhagen Invests Into Newly Designed Bumper Cars
Copenhagen´s Tivoli amusement park recently redesigned their bumper cars. In the course of this renovation, the cars got a new design inspired by the 1920s Charleston-style. Furthermore, the cars are now more spacious and can reach a higher speed. Moreover, the typical antennas are not to be found on the new vehicles anymore.
In the year 2019 only, Tivoli has invested a total of 100 million Danish kroner (over 13 million EUR) to renew or replace older rides. Tivoli´s Chief Financial Officer Andreas Morthorst explains: “Over the past five years, we have invested around 200 million Danish kroner (over 26 million EUR) […] in replacing rides in Tivoli. It´s important for us to be at the forefront of development and meet our visitors´ expectation of having unique experiences with us, while maintaining the best of our traditions.” Tivoli plans to attract more Danish and foreign visitors through this investment program.
