Denmark: Djurs Sommerland Announces New Coaster for 2017
The Danish amusement park Djurs Sommerland recently announced its plans to build a new family suspended coaster, which is scheduled to open in May 2017. The rollercoaster will be manufactured by Intamin on an area of approx. 10,000 square meters as part of a new themed area. The Dutch design company Jora Entertainment will participate in the whole area’s development. With a track length of 825 meters and a maximum speed of 85 km/h the planned coaster will be Europe’s longest and fastest of its kind, according to the park. Its scheduled investment volume of twelve million Euros represents Djurs Sommerland’s largest investment until to date. (eap)
