Details about “Island Tower” at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
(eap) The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando (Florida) is currently modernizing and expanding Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. A new ten-storey building, named “Island Tower”, is being added to the resort. Its location will be just a few minutes’ walk away from the “Disney Monorail”, making it the perfect starting point for a visit to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. The hotel will be designed in the style of the Polynesian islands and will feature motifs related to nature: earth, water, wind and sky. Each room will also be adorned artwork inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana”.
The Island Tower will offer various room types for two to nine people, such as the “Duo Studios”, villas with one or two bedrooms and penthouse villas with two bedrooms. The latter will have a patio balcony with a view over the “Seven Sees Lagoon” and the Magic Kingdom Park. The new accommodation is scheduled to open on December 17 of this year. While Disney Vacation Club members can already make reservations from today, booking for all guests will be possible from June 6. ■
